Mark’s at the post office for the 3rd day in a row this week (seriously, we need to come up with a better system than this) but he’s been baking all morning and trying out new recipes. You probably didn’t notice, but we dropped one of our biscotti flavors - coconut almond five spice - and we decided to turn it into a macaroon. We liked how the five spice added interest to the cookie, but biscotti is one of those things that you either eat or you don’t. It’s definitely been a slower seller than the other products. I admit I don’t ever buy or eat biscotti myself, but Mark makes them a little more petite and not so rock hard, so they are more like a cookie than one of those mammoth giants that you see in coffee shops. It’s probably our little secret, and our preferences do change every other day, but we’re really into the chocolate chili biscotti right now.
