Mexican food night is a pretty ideal meal for hot summer evenings. Everyone can take what they’re in the mood for and roll it all up in a tortilla or not (I usually omit the sour cream, while Mia, of course, sneaks her finger in the bowl to lick the sour cream off). We’ve got the windows wide open today which is a nice change from all the stale AC air. I missed the breezes coming through. I’m not a big AC person, but even I will turn it on when it hits above 90. The chocolate in the apartment needs it too, though the apartment manages to stay cool when we have the blinds and curtains drawn. In any case, I’m glad the heatwave is over. That was a pretty spectacular storm last night, by the way.
